The model definition determines the structure of a JAMS model. This comprises

the components used and their positioning in the model, and
the specification of the link between component attributes and attributes in the model.

Together with the model configuration the model definition is used for a complete specification of a JAMS model.

For generating and editing model definitions the graphical model editor JUICE is used.
