The model definition determines the structure of a JAMS model. This comprises

• the components used and their positioning in the model, and
• the specification of the link between component attributes and attributes in the model.

Together with the model configuration the model definition is used for a complete specification of a JAMS model.

For generating and editing model definitions the graphical model editor JUICE is used.
